How does Jolipet Hypoallergen Adult differ from Jolipet Horse Adult?
- Jolipet Adult Dog Hypo contains only horse hearts as a source of protein; Jolipet Adult Dog with Horse contains only horse meat and some liver. The result is that Jolipet Adult Dog Hypo is much leaner than Jolipet Adult Dog with Horse and therefore better suited for patients who need a lean diet.
- Jolipet Adult Dog with Horse contains the same source of protein and rice (which is the same for both) as well as carrots, peas, apples and beets, so it is no longer necessarily hypoallergenic as dogs may be allergic to any of these vegetables or fruits (which is only exceptionally the case for rice).
- Jolipet Adult Dog Hypo is a diet with a specific nutritional objective, namely to reduce intolerance to certain ingredients and/or nutrients. This diet should generally be used for 3 to 8 weeks. When the symptoms of intolerance disappear, this food can be used indefinitely. In order to maximise the effectiveness of our diet, we only offer Jolipet Adult Dog Hypo through veterinarians.
